Movement is medicine. Much has been written about the benefits of movement, but all you have to do to experience it for yourself is take one step - or better yet - dance!
In this class we will explore movement as a map to our own deepest parts, a map to sensation, and a map to unlock our most true expression. We will learn to listen to and to trust the wisdom of the body, because of the simple fact that the body not only doesn’t lie; it can’t lie.
The 5Rhythms practice has no choreography, no steps to learn, nothing to get right, and there’s no way to get it wrong. It is a fun, challenging, and deep investigation into who we are being. In this very moment. Right now.
In the words of Gabrielle Roth, creator of the 5Rhythms, "We dance because it’s the fastest, most direct route to the truth—not some big truth that belongs to everybody, but the get down and personal kind, the what’s-happening-in-me-right-now kind of truth."

How will we do this on zoom?
You’ll be moving in your own space. I’ll be playing music and guiding you through the practice.
Do I have to have my camera on?
You may turn off your camera at any point if you prefer not to be seen.
If I miss it, will we get a recording?
Yes. And, you can get just as much from following along with the recording as we move through the different rhythms.
